ABPI - The Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry
The Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) is the trade association for about a hundred companies in the UK producing prescription medicines. Its member companies research, develop, manufacture and supply more than 90 per cent of the medicines prescribed through the National Health Service (NHS).

CEFIC - European Chemical Industry Council
The European Chemical Industry Council, is both the forum and the voice of the European chemical industry. The objectives of the Federation are to: deal with questions of common interest (e.g. health legislation, science, research) in order to contribute to the advancement of the health and welfare of the peoples of the world; promote and support continuous development throughout the pharmaceutical industry of ethical principles and practices; to contribute expertise to and cooperation with national and international, governmental or nongovernmental, organisations with the same aims; coordinate the efforts of Members to meet these objectives.

NPA - National Pharmaceutical Association, United Kingdom
The National Pharmaceutical Association is the national body of Britain's community pharmacy owners. It was formed in 1921 to champion the interests of pharmacy owners and to promote, improve and protect an essential service to the public.

PDA - An International Association for Pharmaceutical Science and Technology
PDA is a non-profit international association of more than 9,500 scientists involved in the development, manufacture, quality control and regulation of pharmaceuticals and related products. PDA supports the advancement of pharmaceutical technology by promoting scientifically sound and practical technical information and education for industry and regulatory agencies.
