SCORM is an acronym for Shareable Content Object Reference Model. It is an open standard
specification, first developed by the US government, to enable interoperability and
reusability of Web-based e-learning content. The technology is supported in addition
to the US Government, by Oracle, Microsoft, IBM, Universities, and other
major institutions.
By seamless computing we mean the ability to interconnect various CACTUS-OS products to
the CACTUS data-center hub. The object of seamless computing is to eliminate the boundaries
between the various editions of CACTUS. This will provide benefits for increased functionality,
better management of feedbacks, and the ability to make smarter decisions relative to
training needs for content, exams, and competency specifications.
The best way to achieve optimal training solution is through customization of content,
tests, and examinations specific to a company's operation with continuous maintenance
and improvements based on competency evaluations. CACTUS co-sourcing provides an
integrated set of tool & methodology to ensure effective and efficient specification
of the requirements, design, implementation, review, and approval process. The level
of interaction between Opulus and the co-sourcing partner can be varied.
